The following is a partial record of the minutes of this meeting as it relates to the January 17, 1908 fire at the Baltimore Masonic Temple.
“… The E.C. announced that the recent disastrous fire that partially destroyed the Masonic Temple on Jan. 17, 1908 was the cause of the Commandery holding their meeting in the Temporary Court House, that he had the Charter of the Maryland Commandery that bore the date of 1891, and a dispensation from the R.E. Grand Commander allowing the Commandery to meet and transact business out side of the Masonic Temple. …”
“… The Commandery authorized the E.C. to have such records of the Commandery rebound as was necessary.
These Sir Knights, made eloquent remarks urging those Sir Knights who had no uniforms to procure uniforms as soon as possible and suggested the Savings Association of Maryland Commandery and the Uniform Association of the Grand Commandery as helpful mediums. …. “
