Most Worshipful Grand Master of Masons in Maryland
Congratulations to Maryland Commandery’s own Eminent Past Commander Fred Spicer on being elected and installed as the Most Worshipful Grand Master of Masons in Maryland! EPC Spicer joins Eminent Past Commander’s Charles Gilman and John McJilton as the only three Sir Knights would have served as Eminent Past Commander of Maryland Commandery No. 1, and as the Most Worshipful Grand Master of Masons in Maryland.
In addition, EPC Spicer is the only member of Maryland Commandery No. 1, who was also served as the Right Eminent Grand Commander of the Grand Commandery Knights Templar of Maryland, in addition to being the Most Worshipful Grand Master of Masons in Maryland.
Past Commanders for Baltimore Commandery No. 2 is complete
Updated the list of Past Eminent Commanders for Baltimore Commandery No. 2. I didn’t see any meeting minutes before 1890, which probably means the older minutes were lost in the 1890 fire. Fortunately, I found a program from their 50th anniversary that listed all their Past Commanders to that point, (1909).
Past Commander List is complete.
At least for Maryland No. 1. Still more work to be done on the list for Baltimore Commandery No. 2, and Har-Ce Commandery No. 15.
Sesqui-Centennial Invitation from 1940
I found an original invitation from the Sesqui-Centennial (150th anniversary) of the Commandery. (click on this post for the link to the scanned image.)
